"BAILEY MOTTE

I cannot recommend this B & B highly enough, we have just spent a long weekend in Yorkshire and it was
purely by chance that I found this place on the internet, I have experienced the hospitality of Yorkshire folk
in the past but nothing compares to the Bailey Motte, Lynn and Andy made our stay particularly memorable with their
lovely warm and welcoming way. The Bailey Motte is not only a beatiful quaint 17th century B&B, it is also very clean and homely, (in what other B&B do you get to have your own living room area?)

It seems nothing is too much trouble for the owners and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic with a selection of just about everything you could want, a choice fo cereals, grapefruit, prunes, orange or apple juice, fresh fruit and yoghurts and including the big ole Yorkshire breakfast with proper locally sourced meats and an abundance of toast and preserves washed down by 'decent' coffee and tea.

If you are in and around Knaresborough dont miss this place, in fact, I would go as far as to suggest that
you take a trip to Knaresborough specifically to stay at the Baily Motte"
